Day 13 of Advent Calendar Sale Featuring:
This pair started as light-wash Urban Outfitters cargos (32x32) and turned into a personal prototype built around a set of worn toddler-sized Bred 1 sneakers. Each shoe was fully deconstructed and reworked into patches across the legs — toe box on the cuff, side panel and swoosh on the knee, and the tongue mounted on the upper thigh.
The goal was simple: take something with real life already lived in it and give it a new place to exist. The scuffs, creases, and shape of the sneakers are all kept as-is, so the piece holds on to the kid energy, the movement, the history.
Stitched by hand and machine, this is the first in a small run of experimental sneaker–to–garment hybrids.
