Day 21 of Advent Calendar Sale Featuring:
This one started as a plain Koto denim western shirt, size Medium. From there, I cut up a vintage Marvel tee and appliquéd the entire graphic across the back. It’s stitched on raw, edges intentionally uneven so it feels like it’s melting into the fade.
On the front, I laid in two almost alchemy star appliqués — one on the lower left front panel and one on the right sleeve. They’re stitched down with a rough satin/straight-stitch mix so the edges stay alive and don’t look factory-clean. The little eyelid cutout on the front star is pulled from the original shirt graphic, just reinterpreted.
