This piece starts with a vintage woven vest and turns it into something completely new. The body keeps its original patterned fabric and metal buttons, while the arms are rebuilt using embroidered denim from a late-2010s pair of jeans. The floral stitching brings a softer contrast against the structured vest shape, creating a mash-up that feels both dressed-up and handmade.
Each sleeve is cut with an open slit detail, giving it extra movement and showing off the inside texture of the denim. Everything was rebuilt and sewn together in Los Angeles in 2025, mixing old materials with new construction.
