Day 19 of Advent Calendar Sale Featuring:
These started as a pair of red camo cargo pants. I opened them up and rebuilt the front legs using real Royal Basmati burlap rice bags—straight off the sack, raw edges and all. Burlap sheds like crazy, so everything’s locked down with a wide zigzag stitch to keep the weave from blowing out.
On the back, the lower legs are patched in with old denim scraps, including part of an entire waistband on one side stitched on as full appliqué
